Bellingham Technical College (BTC) invites applications for one full-time professional exempt position as Interim Executive Director of Outreach and Advising. This is a temporary exempt, non-represented position, is Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exempt from overtime, and is at-will. This is a temporary 10-month position through June 30, 2023 and reports to the Vice President of Student Services.    
The interim Executive Director of Outreach and Advising is responsible for the overall management and leadership for a variety of student services areas, including Advising & Career Services, Counseling, Outreach, TRIO Student Support Services, and Running Start. The Executive Director will serve as part of the Student Services Leadership team, and will participate in coordinating the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of student support services and activities.  

Required minimum qualifications include Bachelor's degree and minimum of three years full-time experience in leadership including supervision; or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge and skills to perform the job will be considered (equivalent: A.A. or higher AND minimum five years recent employment in a related educational setting or office environment).

Full-time salary is $7,378 per month ($88,536 per year). Position also receives sick, personal and vacation leave accruals, paid state holidays, Washington State insurance and retirement benefits package, and some tuition waiver benefits.
