Office Help Wanted

The City of Clare has an opening for a part-time office position providing administrative and clerical assistance in the office of the City Treasurer/Finance Director. This position offers a starting pay of $15.79 per hour, twenty hours per week. Required qualifications proficient and accurate general office skills to include file maintenance, typing/keyboarding, proofreading abilities, operation of a 10-key calculator and proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office programs. The selected candidate must have an Associate or Bachelor degree in an accounting field or a must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of general accounting and financial training and experience. Prior municipal accounting and/or financial experience; experience and training in mortgage financing and/or real estate field; prior assessing or appraisal experience or training; and experience with the BS&A municipal software programs is preferred.
