General Education and Developmental Studies
The Developmental Mathematics instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction. Teaching assignment includes teaching 15 SCH during the spring semester and the fall semester. Teaching assignments are assigned and may include day and evening face-to-face courses, and/or online classes. Other duties as assigned. Provide quality and innovative instruction to students taking developmental mathematics courses. Recruit and advise students for the General Education and Developmental Studies Department. Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field required. Master’s Degree in Mathematics or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics is preferred. Experience in a two-year college or university teaching Mathematics. Position is security sensitive and subject to Texas education Code 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.
