Certification in Music or provide proof of
eligibility for NYS certification. Candidates
who have just completed degrees and are
finalizing certification are welcome to apply.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Instrumental Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing students in various instruments, fostering musical growth, and inspiring a love for music. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, tailoring instruction to different skill levels, and preparing students for performances, competitions, and assessments. The teacher will also support ensemble rehearsals, provide individual coaching, and integrate music theory and technique into lessons. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students are essential.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in one or more instruments.
Teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of music theory and performance techniques.
