The Ralston Public Schools is accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning

The successful candidate should be able to:

•Provide leadership in the ongoing planning, implementation, development, and direction of the district's teaching and learning program.

•Continually assess the effectiveness of current educational programming on student achievement and use such findings to make recommendations for future programming and curriculum adoption decisions.

•Develop an effective professional development program which meets the district's needs in areas of teaching, curriculum alignment and technology.

•Acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops, professional meetings, or by conducting research to improve our current levels of achievement.

Qualifications Profile:
Certification: Nebraska administrative certificate

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university.
-Master's degree in educational leadership from an accredited college or university.

Experience:
-At least five years successful administrative experience
-Prior experience serving in teaching and learning leadership capacity preferred.
