Academic Department Associate (ADA)

UW-La Crosse seeks an Academic Department Associate (ADA) for the academic units of Archaeology & Anthropology and Sociology & Criminal Justice. The ADA is responsible for administrative support in the following areas: policies and procedures, budgets and expenses, class scheduling and enrollment, and ongoing day-to-day operations of each unit. The ADA may be responsible for coordinating, training, and supervising student workers within each unit and associated programs. Support to all students, faculty, and staff members within each unit is expected. This position has been approved for limited hybrid work assignment one day a week. The starting rate is $16.67 an hour, and comes with the expectation for continuous employment and a State of Wisconsin benefits package that adds an additional 40% to the overall financial package from the university.
