Superintendent

West Morris Regional High School District (Chester NJ)

Background
The West Morris Regional High School Board of Education is conducting a search for an outstanding educator to serve as
superintendent and continue the excellence of its two high schools (9-12), West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham. The district has benefitted from the continuity of its strong, professional staff.

Both high schools have been recognized nationally and in the state of New Jersey as extraordinary schools. The schools have
impressive and expansive school facilities with more to come as the result of bond referendum passed this year. The referendum is an
indication of the significant community support for the district. The academic and co-curricular program in both high schools is exemplary, as is evident with a robust Advanced Placement Program of Studies and the International
Baccalaureate Program, as well as a comprehensive athletic and performing arts program. Our students attend some of the most competitive colleges in the country. Located in Morris County, NJ approximately one hour west of New York City, the West Morris
Regional High School District serves five communities in four K-8 districts. Each of these communities has members on the Board of
Education proportionate to their population.
