WSU Tri-Cities has many afterschool hourly positions available at various Pasco School District
Elementary schools. These positions are responsible for supporting and assisting with the delivery of the 21st Century Community Learning Center program to approximately 30-50 students. 21st CCLC delivers programs designed to develop and strengthen academic skills and interests in all disciplines with a primary focus on subjects related to STEM careers and college paths. Duties include lesson planning and delivery, classroom management, and assisting administrative staff. Afterschool hours are generally 3:15-6 p.m. (1:15-4 p.m. on Wednesday Early Release days). Programming is also offered for approximately 8 weeks during the summer. There is no degree requirement for these positions and current college students are encouraged to apply. Bilingual/Biliterate candidates are preferred. Starting wage is $15.74 per hour.
